Lopen Pema Deki and Lopen Phub NamgYe will guide you through the course and bring in various textual pieces to support your learning. It will give all participants a clear and profound basis on the Buddhist teachings of mindfulness. The course is open to all, at whatever level of experience and it is not necessary to formally be a Buddhist to attend and benefit from these teachings.
Teaching live from Bhutan will give the course a unique perspective and joy.
Participants will be led step by step through a clear structure and be supported in practical ways. Participants will be guided and encouraged to practice between course sessions. For those who have studied secular mindfulness or yoga this is also a chance to widen their understanding and connect to a wide intention to help all beings with their mindfulness practice.
Some of the course fees will be offered directly at temples in Bhutan for the benefit of course participants and all beings - this is a unique and important of the nature of this course.

LOCATION - DOWER HOUSE - KNOWLTON COURT, CANTERBURY
Knowlton Court is a much-loved family home set within a stunning and extensive country estate of over 1,900 acres located in the heart of Kent, the Garden of England.
We will be occupying the Dower House as our main home for the weekend, as well as additional estate homes within the beautiful grounds. The Dower house is a charming Grade II listed Elizabethan manor house nestled within its own expanse of private gardens at the heart of the Knowlton Estate.
Guests at the Dower House enjoy its secluded location within the woods and its magnificent views of the Estate's extensive parkland. The Dharma Hall where teachings will take place and Home Farm are within a stone’s throw from the Dower House.
Hopefully the weather will allow you to explore the stunning surroundings and grounds of Knowlton Court. You may even choose to do a meditation practice outdoors.
In addition to all the lovely meals Ian will be organising tea and coffee to be on tap!
